People conduct social research to learn something new about the social world. A researcher combines theories or ideas with facts to address a specific kind of question, responding to people in a study ethically. They must also communicate the study of the results to others. Social research: process in which ppl combine a set of principles, outlooks and ideas with a collection of specific practices, techniques and strategies to produce knowledge. It is a process for production of knowledge essentially. Authorities often spend a lot of time/effort to gain knowledge, and we gain from their experience and work.
