Channel: medium through which a message travels, differ in their ability to transfer messages. Channel richness: amount of information that can be transmitted during communication episode. Ability to: (1) handle multiple cues (2) facilitate rapid feedback (3) very personal. Channel depends of if message is routine (non complex and straight forward) Senders purposely manipulating information so receiver sees it more favorably.
