The nine months can be divided into three trimesters, 1) the zygote, 2) the embryo, 3) and the fetus. 1: ovulation the ovary releases an egg cell into the fallopian tube. 3: during day 1 the egg divides into two cells. 4: by day 4 the egg becomes a morula a solid ball of cells. 5: one day 5 the blastocyst a hollow ball of cells hatches from the coat that surrounded the egg. 6: by day 7 implantation is under way.
