3. 3 structure and organization of the nervous system (ns) In this module, we will discuss many of the important brain regions related to the biology of behaviour. We translate our knowledge of nerve cells into an understanding of how they work as an integrated system. This section of the textbook is rich with terminology and can be challenging. As you read through it, try to think about how the different parts of the nervous system apply to your own behaviour and experiences. Doing so will help you remember the terms, and will also show you that many different parts of your nervous system interact when you perform even the simplest of behaviours.
