Domain is the chosen field of action ; territory an organization stakes out for its products, services and markets served. The environment comprises several sectors or subdivisions of the external environment that contain similar elements: ten sectors: industry, raw materials, human resources, financial resources, market, technology, economic conditions, government, sociocultural, and international. Task environment includes sectors with which the organization interacts directly and have a direct impact on the organization"s ability to achieve its goals: industry, raw materials and market sectors (hr and international sectors somewhat as well) General environment includes sectors that have an indirect impact on daily operations: government, sociocultural, technology, financial resources and the economy. All domestic sectors can be affected by international events.
