BU481 Chapter Notes - Chapter 11: Cash Flow, Situation Two, Incrementalism
Document Summary
Include things like changing your organization structure or management processes to create behavioural change, hiring people with new skills, acquiring a new technology, stopping the negative cash flow in a crisis, and so on. When preparing your change agenda you differentiated between items that were designed to produce behavioural change and those that were not. Your priority objectives list will include items of each type, and you need to think carefully about how to blend the two. Some managers ignore behavioural issues and instead focus on easier to manage tasks you cannot do this. Determine who will be a priority target to assess each potential target in terms of his or her commitment to the proposed changes, and the capabilities that they could bring to the change program. Do not try to make this assessment for everyone in the company.
