Migraion means the movement of people to new places of residence either within countries or between countries. The term emigraion means movement out of a country. The term immigraion means movement into a country. So if we are talking about canadian immigraion, we are talking about the movement of people into canada who intend to stay for a prolonged period. Some deiniions require that immigrants intend to setle in canada, while other deiniions include immigrant workers who return to their home country, or foreign students, and so on. Migraion, then, is the broad term for movement in general, and it includes movement within a country, not just across internaional borders. Migraion is a major internaional labour issue. Us presidenial hopeful donald trump is famously calling for a wall to be built to separate. America from mexico, and for a ban on muslim immigraion.
