For the first interview i was the peer observer watching brandon"s interview from behind. Brandon started the interview with an introduction and addressed confidentiality. The first question that brandon asked the patient was. Tell me about yourself , however, the patient did not feel that this question was specific enough for this interview and advised that brandon should be more health focused with his questions. This has been the main concern for each of brandon"s interviews. Brandon has been doing a fantastic job with each one of his interviews in the past, but he allowed the patient to talk about whatever they wanted instead of directing the questions towards health. However, with this patient, he was given the opportunity to ask more medical oriented questions. During the interview, brandon seemed comfortable and relaxed while maintaining eye contact. He actively listened to the patient and responded accordingly while giving enough time for the patient to answer each question.
