Human nature and freedom: rational, self-interested, characterize individuals as rational, we can act rational, were predominately self-interested, fair competition and equal opportunity, equal chances to succeed. Individuals should be free from legal barriers, customs, and conditions to live as they choose: individuals should be free and do what they would like. You deserve what you get in life based on what you do.
