Sport has turned into an entertainment spectacle. Sport and the cinema both emerged as structured forms of leisure i modernizing societies at the end of the 19th century. Now they are two of the leading contemporary cultural forms that still attract huge audiences to a single cultural product. Sport and visual culture go hand in hand. A 16lb motion picture film camera powered by a hand crank, which also served a film projector. It was mobile and could bring it to sporting events.
