Explain the major differences between arteries and veins in terms of: A) vessel wall thickness, B) direction of blood flow inside the vessel (ie. toward or away from the heart), C) whether the vessel generally carries deoxygenated or oxygenated blood, and D) Name the specific artery AND vein associated with the human heart and lungs that are exceptions to the general definition of an artery/vein.
