Adjuvants stimulate inate immunity, which will then trigger the adaptive immunity. When we have an infection we have a minimal level to let the innate to be triggered. Pathogens may be able to breach the barriers. If the pathogen reaches the threshold in numbers, the adaptive immunity is activated. Innate to antigen b will react the same as antigen a. adaptive will work faster and more effectively. When first contact of a pathogen, physical barrier wil try to stop it. If we have invasions, the innate immunite will start. Cellular components are several immune cells that all express a pattern recognition process. Skin is especially strong in shielding us from bacteria due to skins thickness.
